My finished Lottie blouses!

As promised, here are my completed Lottie blouses! I made two versions - the red one with a vintage crepe from 1920s, and another in a monochrome semi-sheer cotton voile, which was a piece that I bought a few years ago as a "coupon" from Paris!

This is going to be short post, as having hosted the sew-along, there is really not much else to say other than to show you a few photos.

That's it! I'm really happy with both, and think that both will make lovely work blouses, and would be perfect teamed up with trousers and skirts.

Now I can't wait to see yours ;)

    2. So sorry to keep you waiting for so long before showing you my Lottie! I had already finished it about a month ago, but never got around to making photos. (Well, finished... I still have to slipstitch the collar closed, but nobody sees it ;).) I do have a good excuse, as I got married two weeks ago, so I was kind of busy ;). I absolutely adore Lottie on you, but I'm not sure that it is the right pattern for me. I probably should take the sleeves a bit in, I don't like how wide they are. And I needed a little extra fabric around my hips, as the blouse kind of sits on my hips. I might tweak the pattern a little and try it again. Your sew along made it a breeze to sew!

    1. Aw that's nice of you to say - I actually hate setting in sleeves so it's reassuring to hear that you liked them. Yep, me too!

    1. Thank you! The pictures don't do it justice - it's actually a rich red, which I fell in love with as soon as I saw it! Mind you the colour did run lots when I prewashed it (twice in fact), so perhaps it is orange now :)
